Yes, since 2020 it has been determined that virtual therapy is just as effective. While not for everyone, virtual therapy has the advantage of taking up less time with commute. Being in a comfortable environment with your own cat, dog, coffee/tea, comfortable blanket and clothes is a great perk.

A quiet, private room, a good internet connection, a tablet, phone or computer and anything that brings you comfort. Something to take notes with can be useful as well.

The first session will be for gathering information about your concerns, history, family dynamics, past experiences of importance and goals. It is a semi-structured time to get to know each other and determine if we are a good fit.

For all other insurances I can provide a receipt to submit for out-of-network reimbursement.

There is no memory that is too much for our work. Your tolerance for doing memory work will determine how direct we will be. We will build up skills for handling tough memories and go softly. You will always feel in control at your own pace.
